Is It Legal To Share Earnings @ Strip Clubs With Patrons?

Wednesday 9 June 2010 @ 6:58 am

I was @ a club with some friends & a stripper invited me on stage. Obliging I joined her act where she put me in kinky positions with her, pole dance, & give lap dances to the guys. Not once did she attempt or ask me to take my clothes off, I went through 2 songs fully clothed. Anyways the entire club went wild & showered the stripper with money, strange thing was she gave me half the earnings(as well as the $1s guys stuck in my pants) & I don’t even work there. Why did she?

How Do Stocks Have Intrinsic Value?

Tuesday 8 June 2010 @ 7:57 pm

I understand it from a companies perspective, they get money to fund thier busiess, and i get company bonds and preffered stock. but whats the point of common stock? nothing makes it grow or fall other than market sentiment right? so a great company could plummet and a terrible company could rocket? i know thats not the normal scenario but whats the end goal of stock?
you buy a company at 5 dollars. it does really great more people want it so they pay 10 for it. you sell it at 10. it does great again it eventualy gets to 100. then it starts to do bad and people take profits so it goes down.
yes you get voting rights, but u vote so the companty does better, so that more people buy it and you can sell it to them for more than you paid
but theres no instrinsic value right, or am i missing something?
i know a decent amount about trading and investing strategies and rules…but whats the difference between stocks and saying to your friend “hey dude ill bet you 5,000 that this company reports good earnings” ?
I know that COMPANIES have intrinsic value…but the price is all based off of if people want to buy it sell it or short it. so theoretically the most profitable companies out there could go to $0 because people chose to make it that way. but when you buy stock, what are you actually paying for? if you buy up 50% of the stock youre buying ownership i get that. but if you buy 500 shares of a company with a float of 9 million what are you buying other than hoping people will pay more for it at a later date?
if the only thing that ACTUALLY makes the price move is more people buying it or selling it, what is the end goal? the money doesnt come from everywhere except for more people buying it, right?
so lets say i was to give u a piece of paper with my name on it, u paid a dollar for it. in 10 years i become successful and make a lot more money, then u sell it t somebody else for 10 dollars. then i become a wash up and he sells it to somebody else for 5 dollars. what is the difference between that and stock?

Why Don’t They Cap Earnings At £20,000 A Year And Make Housing Free?

Tuesday 8 June 2010 @ 11:57 am

There are many homeless people who can’t get back on the ladder of life.
There are many empty houses/flats owned by rich people who rent them out to get RICHER(???)
Some people earn ridiculously high wages (enough excess money to create many jobs for the unemployed and homeless).
If you capped earnings and abolished mortgages/renting so everyone could be housed (as a human right) wouldn’t it allow the countries to actually make progress.
Also how about doing a census each year to find out if vehicle usage can be reduced when commuting to work and reducing pollution, traffic and the resulting accidents that are caused by it.This would save billions of pounds a year - even if oil giants wouldn’t be happy bunnies.

What Country….????? 10 Points.?

Tuesday 8 June 2010 @ 2:58 am

I took a class over world religion in college a few years back. My professor told us about a country where the government kept like 90% of your earnings yet granted housing, vehicle, vacation, etc for the family/individual and let them keep like less then 10% of their earnings as leisure money. We were told that they voted to actually have MORE taken out so their quality of living was even greater. Has anyone heard of this or know what country it is??

How Can I Learn To Share With Women And Believe They Really Like Me For Me?

Tuesday 8 June 2010 @ 12:58 am

What i mean is when i was young and not making alot of money, women wouldn’t give me any chance even for a simple date.. I went to college and got two engineering degrees and now making really good money so women NOW want to hang out with me i feel that must of them are just using me or want to just be with me because i have nice things etc.. Every time i go out on a date i don’t feel she is really on a date with me but on a date for my material things.. It’s always in the back of my hand, why is she dating me?? What is her motive, what does she have up her sleeves? I know for sure if i was ever to get married there will be a prenup in place because if i was to divorce and she took half of my earnings, home etc i would seriously kill her!
