i have a remington speedmaster model 552. i am not looking to sell i am just curious as to what it is worth. i think it is a ‘58 model, which is the year thy were introduced (i think).

I was looking at the Remington S1001 straightners as they are cheap and have good reviews…but what are the best ones in your opinion?

Looking for an unscoped Rem, 700 as I already have a great one. Just wondering which of the models of the 700 I should look into getting and prices that are reasonable. I think that most of the shots I will take for fun are going to be between 100-600 yards. Any advice, other than get another gun, will be greatly appreciated.

William, my husband and I are expecting our third child, an our first daughter. Our sons names are Remington Parker, Remy, and Donovan Spencer, Donny. We love the name Savannah for our daughter but we are unsure how it fits with our children’s names. We want something VERY feminine since she will most likely be our last child and our only daughter. My mother suggested we use Kenzigton but I just don’t find it to be pretty. We also do not want a common first name such as my own, Emily. Is Savannah a common name? If so please give us some suggestions! Also, we need help with middle names, but please no Marie,Ann,Rose,etc.

Still on the search for boy names! The type of names we like but aren’t thrilled about are Jericho, Linkin, Ezra, Nash and Roscoe.
Our children are Ivy, Maveric and Remington no reasons.
So any suggestions of uncommon, original, unique boy name would be just LOVELY!
Nothing like Paul or Logan that will be too common.

How many here still hunt with the old classics…. or even know someone who does?
I know the grad old 30-05, 270 and 30-30s still have their followings, but it seems like every year, the guns get more plastic (not bad.. just not, to my sensibilities, as satisfying) and more “light magnums” and WSSM and Remington UltraMags and Lazzeroni SuperPatriotWarhawk Cruise Magnums hit the floor.
No, what I mean are things like the 7 mauser, the 6.5 Swede, 257 Roberts (or the 32 Win Spec, the 35 Remington)… all the great grand old cartridges that our forefathers toted in sporterized mausers and mannlichers and springfields and god know what else….. and killed many a deer like a lightning bolt.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but i get more joy perusing the racks of old 96 Mausers with Weaver K4s at gun shows then playing with the newest and best must have laser guided ultra mags.
BQ- If you do take any old timers into the woods, what do you prefer?

it is rusting on the part that conceals the pump-action. and on the lower choke. I’m not sure how it rusted maybe water leaked into its case, but again don’t know. What can i do?

I am gonna be new to airsoft and I am planning on going to wars at steelhawk and other war grounds. I was looking at an AEG Famas from big 5, I know not to airsoft guns from a sporting goods store but I really like this gun, and I have seen it on airsofting websites (identicle). I was also thinking about getting a cheap remington 870 spring rifle at the moment, as a secondary weapon, possibly upgrading to an M14 spring rifle in the future. I am gonna save up for a cheaper vest, a paintball mask, and probably wear jeans, a shirt and a sweatshirt. I have no clue what shoes to wear, running shoes or my everyday skater shoes? Does my plan and set up sound OK? I wanna double check before buying, thanks!
